Being a doula and feeding people has always gone hand-in-hand. After pregnancy and birth and during breastfeeding, your body needs to be nourished and replenished. Postpartum meals should focus on protein and iron, fiber, and vitamin C. Galactagogues and calcium are also important for breastfeeding support.
All meals are tailored to your family’s dietary preferences and postpartum needs. I will take care of the planning and the shopping. When in season, I supply veggies and herbs from my backyard organic garden. Meal Prep will be done in your kitchen , with full clean up afterwards.
Lauren , a.k.a. The Tie-Dyed Doula, has a culinary arts background with an emphasis in pastry and maintains the ServSafe certification. Your safety is priority.
