Meet The Tie-Dyed Doula
-
Hi, I'm Lauren!
I’m a wife, a mother of 5, a dog mom, and a sister to all the women who have graciously allowed me to walk alongside them and their partners through pregnancy and beyond.
In my years in the childbirth and postpartum space, I have worn many hats: postpartum doula, birth doula, childbirth educator, breastfeeding counselor, and NICU parent support. I have served families with a grateful heart through every outcome and it has truly been an honor to be invited into your homes, your lives, and your birth spaces; that has never been something I have taken lightly or for granted. I serve each family with a spirit of gratitude and strive to live a WWJD life. Always.
When I am not teaching classes, supporting births, or providing postpartum care, you can find me in my other happy place — at home with my family. At home, I school my children, create custom breastmilk jewelry, bake lasagnas for my neighbors as volunteer with the nonprofit Lasagna Love, and tend to a large organic garden with my husband. My fingers are usually stained from tie-dye, I’m always either reading a good book or baking a from-scratch treat, and the way to my heart is a Rt. 44 Diet Dr.Pepper from Sonic.
Now that you know a little (or a lot) about me, I would love to know more about you! It is important to me to foster a friendship with each family so that you feel comfortable inviting me into your home and into your birth space and so you feel you can lean on me to support you during your pregnancy, your birth, and beyond.
Reach out. Let’s meet up over coffee or slushies and chat about how I can best support your family.
