Texas Medicaid Plans - United HealthCare

I am so excited to announce that I am now in-network with Texas Medicaid under United HealthCare. What does that mean for you? It means birth doula support with $0 out-of-pocket for those with accepted Medicaid plans. Texas Medicaid covers 2 prenatal and 2 postpartum visits as well as in-person birth support under a pilot program for the state of Texas to show improved outcomes for maternal & infant health with doula support.

Unfortunately, at this time, postpartum doula support is not covered beyond the two visits. Hopefully that will be covered in the future.
